Investigating the social role of art and food and the rituals of eating. Running during the growing season (February–October), EATLACMA included an interactive programming series along with an exhibition and curated set of gardens on LACMA's campus.

An interactive outdoor "farmden" (farm + garden) built at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2010, exploring the intersection of bitterness and sweetness through the attempted cross-pollination of two melon varieties.

The artist and collaborators from the organization she founded, Materials & Applications, designed and constructed the bamboo structure using bamboo harvested just before the grove was demolished to make way for the Resnick Pavilion. Over a series of hands-on workshops open to the public, participants learned traditional Japanese binding techniques for bamboo trellis construction — and atypical steam bending of the bamboo.
